Real workshop piecesMemorial Pearls
Approximately 18 Pearls are crafted from each pound of cremains. Each one is individually formed and hand-finished. Pearls are about an inch across. Choose one color, or divide the set across the colors that feel right for your family.
Real workshop OrbMemorial Orbs
An Orb has no front or back. Color, flecking, and mineral veining continue around the entire form—made to turn in the hands or rest as a quiet focal piece. The one-pound Orb measures approximately four inches across.
Planning for a pet memorial
A pet's cremains are approximately 3.5% of their body weight. Bone structure and the cremation process can make results vary, so use this as a planning estimate; the crematory can confirm the actual weight.
Pearl count is calculated from the cremains received and is approximate.
The color palette
Use one color throughout or create a set from several. Pure contains only cremains and clear binder.

Our process
Select the amount to be crafted, divide it between Pearls and Orbs, and choose your colors.
Use the shipping route you chose: our prepared kit, a USPS kit, or direct from the crematory.
Your order is formed and hand-finished in our North Georgia workshop.
Your completed order and any unused cremains are carefully packaged for their return home.
Care from arrival to return home
Your order reference stays with the shipment and the work from arrival through final packing. One memorial is on the bench at a time.
When the work is complete, your finished pieces and any unused cremains return home together.
Safeguarding your loved one
From arrival to return home, your loved one stays in the hands of the person crafting the memorial.
Every piece is made with full attention, then returns home together with any unused cremains.
Crafting pricing
Pricing is $300 per half pound of the total amount crafted. Use that amount for Pearls, Orbs, or any mix of the two. Human and pet cremains are priced the same.
Plan your order
Choose the amount, the pieces, the colors, and the way you want to get cremains to the workshop.
Good to know
No. Select the amount you want crafted. Cremains received above the purchased amount are returned home with your completed order.
Most orders are crafted within 7 business days after the cremains arrive. Please allow up to two weeks for us to prepare and ship the completed order back.
Your Order & Shipping Guide carries the reference and next steps for your selected route. Keep that reference with your shipping receipt, and include it in any message to us about your memorial.
Each order is assigned its own reference and kept in its own clearly labeled box. I am the only person handling orders in the workshop, and I work with each order separately. Completed pieces and any unused cremains are carefully packaged and returned home together.
Yes, we think so. Memorial traditions take many forms. This is an artistic way to honor a life and keep that person or pet close. What matters is choosing what feels right for you and your family.
No. This is an artisan process, and a small amount may be lost while the clay-like material is mixed, formed, and hand-finished. We use the selected amount with care, but we cannot promise that every particle will become part of the finished pieces. Families who prefer a laboratory-style service designed to solidify the full amount may wish to consider Parting Stone.
Each order is handmade. Color placement, surface pattern, and visible cremains vary naturally from one order to another.
USPS requires cremated remains to travel by Priority Mail Express in the required Cremated Remains packaging. We can mail you a kit and handle its return shipment to the workshop; allow 5–7 business days for it to arrive. You can also order a free USPS kit yourself or have a crematory send directly. In those direct routes, the sender arranges the required Priority Mail Express postage. Completed pieces and any unused cremains return home with us. Read USPS Publication 139.
