Your order

Crafting is $300 for each half pound you select for Pearls, Orbs, or a mix of both. Cremains received above the amount purchased are returned home with the completed order. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at secure checkout. Stripe processes payment; Custom Cremations does not keep your full card number.

Sending cremains

At checkout, choose the route that works for your family:

• Prepared kit: the listed price includes our kit, its prepaid Priority Mail Express return to the workshop, and return-home shipment. Allow 5–7 business days for the kit to arrive.
• Your USPS kit: USPS provides the required cremated-remains kit at no charge. You arrange and pay for the Priority Mail Express shipment to the workshop.
• Direct from the crematory: your family or crematory arranges and pays for the Priority Mail Express shipment to the workshop.

Your paid Order & Shipping Guide gives you the order reference, workshop address, and packing steps for the route you chose.

Care and authority

Custom Cremations is an artisan memorial studio. We work only with cremains that have already been cremated. Each delivery is logged on arrival, clearly identified, and handled one memorial at a time from receipt through return home.

By placing an order and sending cremains, you confirm that you have the authority to submit them for this work. We rely on that confirmation and cannot settle family or third-party disputes about authority.

Handmade work

Each memorial is formed and hand-finished. Color, finish, surface, size, and exact Pearl count naturally vary. The usual Pearl guide is about 18 per pound; it is an estimate rather than a guaranteed count. Ordinary handmade variation is part of the work.

Cancellations and workmanship

You may cancel for a full refund before crafting begins. That full refund still applies if we have already mailed a prepared kit or prepaid label. Once crafting begins, the custom work cannot be cancelled for a refund.

If there is a workmanship error or damage caused by our packaging, contact us within 30 days of delivery with a description and photos. We will repair or remake the affected piece when possible, or refund the affected portion when a remake is not possible.

Return shipping

Finished pieces and any unused cremains return home together by USPS with tracking. Declared-value insurance is not provided. For packages delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, we will provide the order and tracking information needed to work with USPS.

Privacy

We use the contact, order, shipping, and memorial details you share to complete your order and support you. Optional photos and stories stay with your private order and are used only for that work. Stripe handles card payment; we receive payment confirmation, not your full card number.

The site records first-party page-view and order-start measurements to help us run the workshop. Those measurements do not store IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
